So a few foodie pictures from the on site Italian Restaurant, Picolo Mondo.
A major should have gone to specsavers moment as David orders a Beef Carpaccio starter only to get some beetroot concoction. Even the chef who came out later thought it was funny, and not the first.

and then a cheesecake and chocolate cake
and a chocolate fancy.
So, too much sun and needing a trip off resort. A bit of history then. 30 minute taxi ride to Falmouth and Nelsons Dockyard.
So here we are, lucky enough to be at the St James Club, Antigua for a second time.
Lucky also to be Virgin Holidays Frequent, and getting upgraded to a Reef Suite with this stunning balcony view straight on to the Ocean.

For no good reason really, we were at the Loch Fyne Restaurant in Winchester. We do like it there and they really were at the top of their game.
Starters: Gin and Tonic Smoked Salmon and Scallops and Haggis
Mains: Smoked Haddock and Lobster Thermidore with Risotto
Sweets: Chocolate Fondant with Cherry and Creme Brulee and shortbread
Bottle of Sancerre went rather well with all the fish.
A busy Saturday night, the food was excellent and service prompt and great – including bringing the bill. Genuine 10/10.
