The Myrtle Idena and Francis Colborn FamilyWilliams eighth daughter, Myrtle Idena Watson was born in 1902. On the 23 Apr 1928, Myrtle married Francis Henry Colborn. We have a picture of the young Myrtle with her mother Mary Jane on the William Watson Page The following photograph we believe to be Myrtle, and on the back it says
"To Daisy (…?..) and Sonny. With (…?…)
Myrtle, Aug 13, 1927, Queensland, Australia.”. Daisy was Myrtles elder
sister. With a good deal more certainty, we have the following picture of Myrtle and Frank at the time of their Silver Wedding - April 23rd 1928-1953.
Myrtle and Frank had three children, and their two daughters Irene and Winnie are pictured below. Taken in May 1956, Irene is on the left, Winnie on the right.
Winnie married Mervyn Verrall on 16th May 1950, and have five children. Here's a delightful picture of Winnie and Mervyn with granddaughter Hayley Verrall, one of 14 grandchildren at the last count !
