The Wilfred Hector Watson Family

Wilfred Hector Watson (Fred) was Williams first son. He was born in 1876 and married to Evelyn Hughes. Fred worked at Kirby Fleetham Hall, Northallerton as a Chauffer and later as a Gas Fitter.

Below we have a picture of Sylvia and Fred, together with friend Dolly Beadle (and an unknown dog !!), and then a more recent picture taken sometime in the 1960's

Wilfred Watson and Agnes Marjory (Nan) Jackson

Fred and Evelyn had just one son, Wilfred. Wilf was brought up around Kirby Fleetham Hall, where both his parents worked, and he is pictured there as a boy in his car. Wilf was a champion cheese maker at Coverham dairy, and more recently at Hawes.

He married Nan (Agnes Marjory) in 1956.

Nan and Wilf live today in Leyburn, North Yorkshire. They have three daughters - Julie, Jill and one who we don't mention, pictured below at Nans sister Pats wedding in 1970?, and then more recently at Jills wedding in 198?

And finally, here's a picture of Nan and Wilf in 1996 on their Ruby Wedding Day, and then with 5 of their seven grandchildren in 1998. Back row L->R, Oliver Burrill, Nan and Wilf, front row; Thomas Burrill, William Dinsdale; James Dinsdale and Robert Burrill.
